Let Adidas Shoes Guide You

So I am an Adidas fan! As many of you runners probably have tried various different pairs of running shoes until you find the ones that help you cross the finish line with your feet still intact I have found Adidas to be the best. Best of all, they are very reasonably priced and as all you marathon runners out there know we can go through at least 3 - 4 pairs of shoes during the year and costs can definitely add up. Catch Adidas on sale and buy one or two pairs at a time. For those of you that live in Toronto there is a 50% sale going on right now.  After talking to the sales rep at the Yonge and Dundas store he said the sale will last only a few more days, until they are able to unload their stock of new spring shoes. Try their Supernova's they are great for long distances, and those that love running trails or run outside during the winter their Kanaida Trail 3's are not only durable they are waterproof. Made with a Gortex lining they help keep your feet dry and have great traction on them that gives you stability running through snow storms or up hills in the forest. I just recently bought the Adizero Boston shoes, with a name like that who knows maybe I will actually run faster. I have not yet tested them out, I am keeping them for the spring time, but they are super light and you can put in your own orthodic if you use them and they are bright red so you will be seen miles away!

Way to go Adidas keep up the good work!

Let Women Set the Pace in 2011

Toronto Women's Running Series
Check out my latest articles for all things Toronto running

All things Toronto running and all about me!

Here I am, my first ever blog! A little about me as I grow my follower list this blog is going to be everything Toronto running related. So if you love running, are a running supporter, a magazine columnist, celebrity, TV anchor etc, this blog is for you!

So a little about me. I started running two years ago when my good friend convinced me to join the learn to run program from the Running Room a few months before my wedding day! Like every bride I wanted to loose those extra 10 pounds to look fabulous in my wedding dress, well who would have thought that would be the start to this new found healthy addiction! I ran the Santa 5 km shuffle in December 2009 and went from there! Here I sit 2 years later having completed 2 full marathons, numerous half marathons and 30 km events, have met wonderful friends along the way, mentor new runners, fundraised money for Team in Training for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada and the list continues to grow! I now write all about running for examiner.com and recently got a great gig for the Toronto Women's Running Series as their Media and Public Relations Rep!

I am a career woman, a wife, a runner, a writer and a woman who is dedicated to this sport and hope to be a great addition to the Toronto Women's Running Series team to promote health and fitness for Toronto City Gals!
